If you typed the phrase free film downloads into Google and you’ve been brought to this site, you are probably looking for up-to-date information on where and how to find movies to download for free.
Now, there are many sites out there that will try to get you to join their Peer-to-Peer network such as Kazaa or Limewire etc. In fact there are hundreds that will take your money, give you some flaky software that will in turn give you access to the network.
You can always get on the IRC. Now that’s a frustrating experience if ever there was one! For a beginner it’s almost incomprehensible and very clique with users unwilling to offer advice and help. You also suffer from the same vagaries as the Peer-to-Peer networks. No, this is not the place to find free film downloads, this is the place to become even more confused than you are already.
But there’s a problem!
P2P (Peer-to-Peer) networks are notoriously for passing on viruses, slow on downloading speeds and kicking you off the network just as your download is nearing completion. There also needs to be at least one ‘peer’ online for you to download from. Plus, the choice is limited. The chance of you finding the film you are looking for is not good!
So, what’s the solution for finding free film downloads? I take it you want a super fast system, plenty of choice, safe from viruses and, oh did I say, there’s lots more things you can find as well such as mp3’s, images, applications, TV episodes - you name it and if it’s downloadable, you can get it.
And what is this great service that blows the IRC and P2P networks out of the water. Well the answer is as old as the Internet itself - Newsgroups - and before you go running off with your head in your hands, continue reading because this really is the answer you’re looking for. I promise.
Now, Newsgroups used to be the playground of the few. A closely guarded secret known only to a select band. They kept it secret too by using archaic commands and instructions that were difficult to understand.
Now it’s different. The software does it all and in lightning quick time too. In fact you can be watching your free film download in as little as 20 mins, and that is a download of 4.7Gb.
The extraordinary thing about the Newsgroups is that you can find information on almost any hobby that you can think of too (and some you can’t think of!)

Where can I find free downloadable movies ?
My brother could download any movie you want for free. But the problem is, he won't tell me or let me see the movie. So if anyone knows any site that has completly free downloadable movies please tell me. I am desperate for movies. My parents won't buy movies for me and I don't have that much of money. I always depend on my parents. Don't suggest working, because I am an 11-year-old girl and I am in United Arab Emirates. There is no work there for young kids. And we have a housemaid so I don't have chores that I can do to earn money. So please help me find a site that has complete free downloadable movies.
www.watchmovies.net is a great site for downloading movies but they take a loooooong time to download about an hour's downloading for only 30minutes of movie. But if you are a patient person - good for you.
